The Anthem Innovative F Plan

Anthem has Introduced a NEW Medicare Supplement – Innovative F

Anthem has introduced a Medicare Supplement plan called Innovative F that offers vision and hearing coverage. I am not aware of any other Medicare Supplement plan that offers this at no additional cost.

The hearing benefit will be administered by Hearing Care Solutions and will cover:

Up to 1 routine hearing exam every 12 monthsFitting evaluation for a hearing (aid)s$750 total allowance toward a hearing device(s) every year

The vision benefit will be offered through the Blue View Vision Insight network and includes:

$25 exam copay (once every 12 months)$25 lens copay (once every 12 months)$100 total allowance for frames (every 24 months)$100 total allowance for contact lenses (every 12 months) in lieu of eyeglass lenses

In addition, Innovative F subscribers can benefit from these money-saving options:

A 5% discount on each policy if there is more than one Medicare Supplement policy written in a household with a coverage date of June 1,2010 or after.Subscribers receive $2 off their monthly premium simply by enrolling in automatic electronic premium payments – a savings of $24 annually. Save $48 by paying the premium for the entire year. There’s even greater savings for Innovative F subscribers who combine discounts (based on eligibility).
